Dental ImplantsDental implants permanently replace missing teeth and may be a preferred treatment option to a bridge, partial, or full denture. Dental implants (and mini implants) consist of a titanium screw that is implanted into the jaw bone with a crown on top. The process can take up to 6 months due to healing, and a temporary crown or flipper can be created to fill the gap until the implant treatment is complete.
InvisalignUsing some of the newest orthodontic techniques, we can provide you with straight teeth without metal braces using a series of clear, custom-molded aligners. Unlike braces, these aligners can be removed to eat and brush your teeth.
Cosmetic DentistryThere are many options available to help us create the perfect smile for you. Coffee stains, chipped teeth, gaps between teeth, and other cosmetic concerns can be addressed with veneers, crowns, composite restorations, or whitening.
Children's DentistryLittle smiles often need help to grow properly, and you can rest assured knowing that our dental team will do everything in our power to make you child’s visits here as fun and friendly as possible.
Preventative DentistryWe strongly recommend that people of all ages come in for a check-up and cleaning every 6 months to maintain their oral health. Additionally, we may recommend sealants, more frequent cleanings, or a fluoride treatment to help prevent decay or periodontal disease.
VeneersVeneers are thin, custom-made shells made from porcelain that are cemented to the front of your teeth. Teeth that are stained, misshapen, or crooked may be improved by a veneer. Veneers may also be used to correct unwanted extra spacing between teeth. Porcelain veneers have a longer life expectancy and color stability than composite restorations.
Tooth WhiteningWe offer a variety of whitening/bleaching options at Saratoga Healthy Smiles. Our most popular method of bleaching involves custom-fitted trays that are worn at night with a bleaching gel in the tray. We also offer in-office bleaching for special events and faster results.
Restorative DentistryWhen teeth develop cavities or fractures needing to be restored, we place white fillings to rebuild these teeth damaged by decay or fractures. The material is bonded to the tooth and sculpted in place to recreate or enhance the natural size, shape, and color of your tooth. The filling material is matched to your natural tooth for a very esthetic result.
When teeth are too badly damaged to place a filling, crowns are the ideal solution. Made of porcelain and/or gold, crowns are placed on teeth that are cracked, have had root canals, or are badly decayed. By strengthening weak teeth, they can prevent further fractures and eliminate discomfort while eating. Nitrous Oxide SedationOtherwise known as laughing gas, nitrous oxide can be used to help relax you during your dental visits. Nitrous oxide is most commonly used for children for a more relaxed treatment visit, or for anxious adults.
Root CanalsRoot canal therapy is the process of removing the nerve from the inside of a tooth and filling it with an internal material.
Oral SurgeryWhen no other options exist, we may recommend removing a tooth to restore oral health. Extractions may also be recommended for orthodontic treatment or when there is a lack of space for wisdom teeth. Tooth extractions can be done in our office or referred to an Oral Surgeon in complex cases or for patients requiring IV sedation.
Tooth Replacement OptionsWhen a tooth is missing for various reasons, many options are available for replacement. Options include implants, bridges, or removable dentures. Dr. Irina would discuss all benefits and repercussions with you, to help you make the best decision for yourself.
